Lilac Ash is a lovely blend of soft lavender and subtle grey/ silver tones for an ethereal, muted appearance. The gentle purple hue from the lilac is complemented by a hint of smokiness from the “ash” component. Infused with a shimmery grey and just a touch of mystic purple, Lilac Ash is remarkably versatile and effortlessly chic. The AB (Aurora Borealis) coating makes it shine lots of different colours. The purple/ grey tones beneath can still be seen but the strong rainbow hues shine on top as it hits the light.
When using these flatback crystals for costumes, we would recommend using size SS16 (4mm) and larger. These hotfix rhinestones can be applied using a hotfix applicator and are typically used to embellish fabric. The heat fixing method is quick, easy and mess free.
Preciosa’s Maxima range of crystals have more facets (15) than the Viva12 (12 facets), these additional cuts to the crystal allows more light to be reflected and therefore creates a more sparkly effect. Sizes SS30 – SS48 have 18 facets.
